Kulusevski as right wingback!

From Antonio Conte:-

About Kulusevski, "he is a good player, he’s very young. I think he’s a great talent. He can play like a number 10 if you want to play with two players behind the striker.

At the same time, he has the potential to play also as a wing-back on the right. He has good quality. He likes to attack, he’s good in one vs ones, to create chances for his teammates. I think a good signing for us."

There were strong rumours that if we got Traore he would be played at right wingback, now Antonio is actually saying Kulusevski can play there.

I am quite surprised he said right wingback as I know Kulusevski is naturally left footed. Thats not to say he can't play there but I never thought about it.

I was quite surprised at Juve's apparent eagerness to get rid. He's looked very handy player on the few occasions I've watched him, which has been behind the striker mainly through the inside right channel.

We've seen inverted wing backs a few times now under Conte

Nothing more dangerous than a player cutting in to shoot with their strongest foot! Worth looking at him there, quite a few of his goals came from him cutting in on the right and he hast a very useful left peg👍

Don’t like it.
Remember Lee Young Pyo?

You need to be crossing with your strong foot. And cutting inside is predicatable.

Yeah I remember Lee Young Pyo, if I remember though he seemed very two footed, sadly he just wasn't that great with either!
