Who were favorites for this season's domestic title according to most pundits and some fans. Lukaku was the missing piece and obviously, Tactical Tommy had Peps number.
We actually play better away from home this season and the good performances at Chelsea and Anfield were not once-off performances. I'm actually nervous about the 2 home games against Spurs and United. As weird as this sounds but we could draw one or even both
This group of players is quietly raising the standard again and a few records may not have got a lot of attention such as 36 wins out of 44 matches in the 2021 calendar year and most goals scored in a Premier League calendar year: 113, 2021 (national record) without a striker
What stands out is how good we are defensively. We don't give up any chances if at all anymore which is incredible as Dias and Laporte have been inconsistent defensively but as a team, we work so hard to stop the opposition from creating any chances.
I still feel Foden's form needs to go up several levels for us to have a chance in Europe. He is our best attacker and has had a stop-start season. We need him and KDB to be fit and motoring to have another chance at claiming the CL trophy.

Regarding the 2 fullbacks who are your most creative and dangerous threat (weird) we happened to play 2 seasons with a midfielder at left back and won the title by 100 points and 98.
But if this excuse suits you so be it. Lets hope next season with your best fullbacks back the gap wont be 16 points.
