Thats difficult to take then, balls hits the defenders arm there and it's a pen, should be a similar allowance for attackers I think but some.rules are just bammy?

Well that was an important half a second half performance for confidence of nothing else.

The players looked done in the first half, I was very very worried that we were done and relying on Norwich, Watford and Burnley not getting past 30 points. We got a lucky penalty after creating nothing and looking frightened at the back. That goal was horrific to concede.

But then Barnes coming out wide second half created space for KDH on the middle and got him 1 or 1 with Coufal which changed the game. I don’t know what was different but we were winning midfield battles and getting on the front foot.

We got nervy again in the last 10 and it was good that West Ham seemed to run out of steam. But then the suicide act. Bring on Vestergaard. It doesn’t work. Don’t do it again. Ever.

Hopefully the players take some confidence, from that spell because we looked devoid of it in the first half.

More disappointment against West Ham. I hope we can take the positive 20 minutes forward. Please?!

West Ham looked a lot like us, bloody useless, so I guess a draw was fair.

I don’t normally comment on here, but I have a question. I know our defence has suffered a lot of injuries, but why is it so poor when the head coach is an international defender who played at Arsenal & Liverpool.

My answer to this is the same as always. The balance is wrong.

Rodgers wants us to play a high line and that only works if you also have a high press to stop the balls being played in behind. We not stopping teams from picking passes in behind. The result is the defence is nervy and either not holding the line or being too aggressive.

That said, our inability to deal with dead ball situations is criminal from a coaching perspective.

ANOTHER Soft Tissue Injury is Criminal from any perspective.
