“I need ammunitions not a ride”

Zelensky on declining an offer of evacuation from the West.

Credit to the Ukrainian leader and his brave soldiers standing up to the heinous crimes being perpetrated by the Hitler wanna-be in the Kremlin.

The murderer Putin will certainly pay for this needless shed of the blood of innocent lives.

The Americans shouldn't had installed a puppet regime in Ukraine. They with their intelligence agency tried to destabilise Ukraine from the inside which resulted in removing the democratic elected president Yanukovych.
The US puppet regime then tried to be a puppet state for the west on the doorstep of Russia. Russia has every right to defend their interests there. Imagine Mexico electing a pro Russia president who would invite the Russians to build a military bases in Mexico, the Americans would be there in within a day with their military. By the way Russia has 6600 nuclear hypersonic weapons, France for example has 300. This can only resolved peaceful if the west and Russia negotiate a treaty whereby Ukraine will be a neutral state.

This is possibly the biggest pile of dogsh*te I think I have ever read.Putin wants to restore the USSR he is on the record saying that it was the biggest disaster in the 20th century the break up of the Soviet Union. He thinks that the 1st and 2nd world wars were inferior to this .
Putin wants to go down in history as the man who delivered the old style Soviet system to his country.
He has been planning this for years all his work hoarding billions to counter the west’s sanctions and cosying up to the Chinese means we are irrelevant to him.
He has already committed an act of war in Britain with the Novichok poisonings in Salisbury but he doesn’t give a damn .
Unless the west gets its act together quickly we are in for a huge conflict again.

Is there a chance rather than wanting to re-establish the Soviet Union, which seems impossible, that he might just want to ensure Ukraine doesn’t become a NATO member state? The US being able to co-ordinate military bases in neighbouring Ukraine might be a bigger concern to Russia than USSR nostalgia

Russia already have troops in the former soviet state of Kazakhstan helping the government there ,some might say it had already started.Putin knows who he can “assist” without the west intervening ,Ukraine are isolated because they are not NATO affiliated .

Ukraine is an independent sovereign nation, it’s not up to him.

Iraq was an independent sovereign nation but it didn't stop the US and your country invading them.

There was no fear among those 'at home' at the time so an invasion was therefore necessary.
Fear levels are currently through the roof 'at home' so why invade?
Once again we're all being played. It's what our Western 'leaders' (pfft) do. Your life means nothing to them.

I just wish more could see it.

The Ukraine is a free sovereign state, there is no way that the Russians would get this level of resistance if it was a puppet regime installed by the US - wake up !

Vladimir Putin has gone "all in" here, he regards Ukraine as "Russia's property" and the re-formation of the Soviet Union as his legacy - he can't afford to lose face by just withdrawing.
I don't think this is going to end well, if he stays in power it could even end up with a nuclear war. 👀
