If I'm honest I wasn't that happy we re-signed him and at the time when there was talk of Madison I was hoping we would get him. As its turned out Odegaard was a very smart bit of business and is really coming into his own now. Key thing for me is that he moves the ball quickly, reminds me of Rosicky hopefully with less injuries and at the price we paid its turned out to be a bargain.

To be fair to Madison he seems to have had a stop start season through injuries but when he has played he's contributed goals to a poor Leicester side this season. Having said that Odegaard is proving better value for money.

Absolutely superb
Wouldn't look out of place in a Pep side with the way he's playing. You can tell he trusts/loves Saka & Partey, combines with them so well.

Yeah very good purchase. I thought he was good on loan, but was worried he could go a bit ceballos, decent enough player but short of having a significant impact. Im happy he’s proven my doubts wrong. Pleased to see he’s up for getting stuck in chasing balls down, pressing and making tackles as well. Might be a flat track bully for now, but let’s see how he does against the harder fixtures we have coming up before deciding that. However for what we want to achieve in the short term, flat track bully is fine, if you beat all those teams you get CL.
