Always good to get a win

Against the skum in front of a crowd of 9,000.

3-0 to the U23's goals from McKinstry, Maxi Dean and young Archie Gray.

Fantastic team performance.

Really enjoyed that (LUTV, I didn't go down).

Surprised it finished 11 v 11, got a bit fiery at times.

Who did you have as MOTM Sol?

I thought all the lads played well Jenkins, Kenneh, Dean and Cresswell stood out. Fantastic cameo and goal from Gray. Good to see the skipper back we always look better with him there.

Agree Els, great team performance and they all played well and are comfortable on the ball. Lots of intelligent play. Loved the aggression of Dean and Greenwood. Somerville had a great first half, quick and tricky to defend against. Thought the keeper was brave with some great saves, especially at 1 nil.
Lots of good individual performances but McKinstry I thought just kept going and going so him for me. Gray had a very good half hour and what a finish, how old ?

Very fortunate to blag an invite to sponsors lounge, if we end up half as good as Jesse talks Europe for us next year Very likeable guy genuinely seems to get Leeds. Did feel like I had cheated on Bielsa though......
Reaney, great to talk too, very entertaining
Beckford, living legend for me absolutely loves us
Meslier, grounded young man, beating himself up over goals conceded this year.

I thought McKinstry was our best player. Great energy, really suited the nature of the press. He was man of the match. Either him or me, for managing not to lamp the child sat behind me.

I thought Klaesson was excellent as well, and managed to not drop a clanger for 90 mins, so thats a marked improvement.

Agree on KK, some on here have said they worry about only having him and Dani as back-up. Based on never watching them play. We could have conceded a couple and faced a different outcome and the saves weren't simple.
As I said we looked better last night with Charlie at the heart of defence and I see him as both future club captain and playing for England one day.
But for me the MOTM was Nohan, both of Man U's chances came down Cresswell's side, as I said before, he isn't a centre back but Kenneh was solid last night.
Also Max Dean, love his attitude, scored and without him Gray doesn't score.

I can see why you went for Kenneh but I'd probably go for Dean. Thought he was almost young Alan Smith-like with his closing down and tenacity.

Interesting watching him join in the Gray celebration, he slides over, kind of falls over then embraces Charlie. Looks like there is a great team spirit.

Dean reminds me of a young Alan Smith a bit
