I have seen replays from different angles, and I still can't see the ball Clearly hitting his hand !

You may need glasses.

It's been slowed down, it clearly hits his hand as unfortunate as it is.

The rule is stupid and the goal should count imo but by the rules the correct decision was made.

The biggest bummer is that the rules are different for goal scorers and defenders because that is never being given as a pen if it is a defender.

I agree HH. It’s possible the ball brushed the underside of Alonso’s finger, and if it did I understand the rules say that the goal should be disallowed. But there is no way to see that conclusively from the videos from any angle. Maybe VAR had additional camera views of it, but I doubt it. I think they “assumed” the ball brushed his hand - but you can’t actually see it. Very harsh to disallow a goal for that - I think that was a VAR error.
