Lots of cruel people out there, it’s very sad that it’s going to happen again unless the authorities get to work to prevent it more.

Social services, police etc need to be more on it and people who report these people (before it’s too late) need to be taken more seriously.

The little girl killed by her mums lesbian lover, was reported over and over again and social services didn’t do enough, they even visited the home and ignored the bruises.

Some people have their kids taken from them so easily for next to no reason or for a simple mistake, which destroys their families and negatively impacts the kids life, while other monsters are allowed to keep theirs despite the clear dysfunction in their families.

Sadly accept there is not a 100% fool-proof method, and accept the consequences.

Well, you could take that conclusion away from this thread. Or alternatively accept that Crocs are becoming more fashionable in some parts of Australia.

Normally enjoy a 52 off topic thread, particularly his reminiscing ones, but this is a tough subject. Sadly despite our claim we are civilized i don’t think we are close to fully realizing that. It’s a curious argument as to why some parents do this, is it in their nature or is it how they themselves were raised? The latter tends to strongly influence people, look at serial killers, for the most part it’s traumatic childhood experience that conditions them in a way to behave in extreme and highly abnormal ways. Would be interesting to know the backgrounds of the parents in these cases to see if there is a link.

Agreed. Current circumstances also play a role IMO. Everywhere you go in the world the poorer worse off areas and people are responsible for a significant percentage of crime, violence, cases of mental instability etc.
