I don’t know what game you were watching but he was totally non-clinical in front of goal - as usual. 😐
He works hard with a great attitude and that’s how he got a couple of goals previously but the reality is that in Nketiah & Lacazette we have the WORST strikers in the Top 7 !

We need two new strikers and the return of Balogun to be given a chance as third striker.
Nketiah & Lacazette should BOTH be sold.

Eddie just showing what an actual striker with abit of desire and pace can do.

Aubameyang was lazy but could finish if given chances.
Lacazette couldn't hit a barn door. Has no pace,strength and his ability to run with the ball is non existent, but can lay the ball off.
Eddie works hard, chases lost causes and can actually run with the ball but atm his finishing is not upto scratch.

A actual top striker could transform the team.

I'd haptake Jesus and Nunez. £100 Mil for the both of them and be done with it. (30 Jesus and 70 Nunez)

Goodness me, Nketiah is a Championship-level player at best. There are Championship clubs where he would warm the bench (like he did when we loaned him to Leeds). He does not belong in a team with our aspirations.

Without Eddie we are doomed so anyone dissing him now needs to swallow their dirty saliva and shut up.

Saying we need him now cos we have no strikers is different from saying we should keep him, when we should be trying to improve our forward line next season. Why would we keep a Championship player?

If Laca goes and Pepe is sold and we sign two forwards then having a young championship level striker who could improve and be a late bloomer would be fine. However he doesn't want that at this stage in his career and that's fair enough. I could see him going to a team like Brighton and doing okay. He will definitely be picked up by a premier league club in the summer though.
