I have taken the time to read some of the posts on the Spurs board because we are playing them on Thursday in the Top 4 Final I like to call it.
Notice how some of their fans suggest we would be lucky to finish in the top 4 because other teams have performed below par and we have had lucky circumstances.
Can I just say that is nonsense. OK United has been poor and Spurs started poorly. Maybe if United played to their potential and/or Spurs had Conte from the start, maybe we would end up 6th at best. However, we are a greatly improved team and if we get top 4, it is because we have been one of the 4 best teams in the country.
The next thing I noticed is that they call our team average at best whilst they are far superior. We would be the worst team to have qualified for the CL if we do.
If we are average then they must be poor... I would only take Kane & Son as starters for us. Some of their other players may get into our squad. Their team is beyond average. Without Kane & Son, not even Klopp would get them near the top 4. Spurs are the definition of a 2 man team.
Our team is obviously still underrated with opposition fans albeit Spurs fans will naturally rate ours lower than other teams fans would.
It will be a hard game but I so hope we get the Top 4 in their own back yard.
If we get 4th its because we deserve it

Imagine if Chelsea missed out. Highly unlikely but I could see Arsenal overtake them if they win their remaining games.

Chelsea ain't got the hardest of games left, but Wednesday could be difficult. One eye on the FA Cup final, Leeds desperate for a win.
Then we can hope for a FA Cup hangover when they play Leicester - who may play a strong XI in the PL now they are out of Europe.
Watford should be a simple last game though, and the fact Arsenal and Spurs play each other makes Chelseas position very strong sadly.

So, everytime anyone but Man C, LFC,
Man u and cfc get top 4, its coz they or the league has been chit that year but when Spurs get in the top 4, they are world beaters, 1 signing away from dominating football

Make your mind up

My point is that those may have had an impact but the main reason I believe is because we have played better this season.
Had we had last years squad, we would have finished 7th/8th again

So... Spurs tried to get a PL game called off and the PL disagreed with the reasoning? What I said from the start. So Billy feeling Arsenal are a disgrace for presenting a case to the PL which the PL felt was deserving of a postponement must mean he thinks Spurs are a bigger disgrace for presenting a case to the PL which the PL did not feel met the requirements for a postponement.

Okay ….can’t be bothered

Don't think a 4 word comment needs a comma.

Spurs are lower than the lowest of the low because they tried to manipulate the fixture list and both the PL and UEFA told them to do one
Facking hypocritical Spurs caaaants.

Wait, what ?????
Am fairly sure you got this the wrong way round pal. Mine, and everyone else's memory was that Arsenal, due to having half their first team injured or suspended, used one ( yeah that is ONE ) Covid case to play the system and talk a weak as ever PL into agree to call the Spurs game off.
On the other hand Spurs, who DID have a genuine Covid outbreak effecting something like 8/9 players and 5/6 backroom staff had to deal with UEFA, who actually do have a backbone and stuck to their rules, thereby refusing to reschedule our last group game.
Two totally different scenario's. One an honest reuest, the other just cheating. Probably explains why Arsenal are the only team with their own cheating song on the terraces everywhere they play.

Arsenal presented a case to the PL which the PL felt was reason enough to postpone the Spurs game.
Spurs presented a case to the PL which the PL dismissed.
Guess only one was a genuine request while the other was a team attempting to manipulate the fixture list to their advantage...
