Let. Him. Go!

Heart is in Spain. Legs long gone. Azpi's work is done, ran his course. Collect the 2-5m & part ways respectfully.
Overstayed a season too long. With all due respect, can do much better & had the ready-made replacement within the club in Livramento, which was carelessly lost due to a lack of foresight and common sense. Hard-hitting facts.
Let. Him. Go. Tuchel.

But the club never promotes them...and when Lampard did, to some degree of success, you guys still went out and both players and unbalanced the squad

Make no mistake...signings were necessary (lost Willian, Pedro, Hazard), youth can't wholly address and solve all the deficiencies & shortcomings within the squad.
Most of the bought just haven't worked out as planned or as one would have liked yet
Mind...I'd have never ostracised and sold our top goalscorer Tammy, to replace him with Lukaku but that's a whole different matter for another day.

The ideal is to supplement the standout academy graduates with top-class...
Mendy, Silva, Chilwell (and sometimes Havertz) have had that desired effect.
The less said about the others, the better.

Never understood why Chelsea let Tomori go. Saw him play a couple of times and thought he was decent and potentially very good.

Been fantastic this season, think the season has taken its toll recently but he’s been very very good this season when I thought last year he was done

We've got players within the club that can perform to a satisfactory standard right now, which Azpi cannot match.

You are losing too many defenders to let him go, past his sell by date or not.

We will be buying new ones

Nick, i agree to an extent. whilst he is most certyainly in decline where has this myth come from that he has had a bad season?
I would say time to sell, but as pointed out above, losing so AC and Rudiger menas perhaps he shd stay one more season.. I am easy about it either way.

Exactly, i thin this poster in living about 7 years in the past. We have been brilliant in promoting youth in the past 3 or 4 years.
The club tried to keep both Lampyet and Livarento but the biggest problem for them was Reece James and Azpi was still to good to become no 3 FB.
Timing is everything and if those players were at the club now they would see the clear path to be back up to Reece and one at least would have stayed.
Tomoir is a different story, i have no idea what happened there, but i would speculate that it was a falling out with Lampard.
That one hurts the most tbh
