Should Play-Offs Be Scrapped?

In light of the unsavoury incidents which have happened at the end of some of the play off matches, does anyone think the play-offs should be scrapped and we revert to top 3/4 up and bottom 3/4 down? (depending on the league).

Are the play offs fair? or are they just a money making machine? Is there an alternative to the play-offs ? Should the penalty shoot out be before extra time in order to protect the players? Are these pitch invasions a fleeting thing, or is this always going to happen?

What is the EFL likely to do ..... if anything ? Anyone got any ideas? Does anyone care ?

No point in multi-boarding this on the PL boards for obvious reasons .....

Got to keep the play offs. Without them we would miss the Wednesday mobile phone light show followed by inevitable defeat combination we've all come to adore

Sorry kitty, you seem a lovely lady, but we have previous with your fans' overconfidence and it's kind of pre-programmed into us Terriers to get our cheap shots in when and where we can. At least the Blades made as much of a mess of it as you guys

Yes, they should. It's very unfair on the team that comes third. Although dis year the third placed team will probably get their just desserts.
