This is not a dig by the way. Most Liverpool fans I know did not expect to win the league after the draw at the Etihad but the cup wins and a 3rd CL Final for Klopp have made the season an amazing experience.
The Quad was a media narrative but I'm sure the fans have enjoyed it given that some pundits had you struggling to make Top 4 this season.
But there is a stat that came out that since the start of the 2018-19 season Liverpool and Mancity have played 152 games each in the league and City lead by one point yet City have 3 league titles and Liverpool have 1. Its a weird thing to say but the last 4 seasons City haven't been as meticulous as the side that got 100 points which had the likes of Otamendi and Delph in defence but had a better front 6.
Thats must hurt Klopp and the players. Maybe the Liverpool fans arent that bothered but for the players that must hurt. They have collected 50 odd points of the last 55 available but its still not enough.
Next season will show the mental strength of this group and the manager particularly if they have to move Mane or Salah along.
By the way where lots of people are quick to call van Dijk the greatest Center Back ever (admittedly Michael Owen) I am at the point where I think Allison could be the most effective goalkeeper I have ever seen in my life. That guy is worth at least 15 points and that's no slight on your defence. He is unreal.

If I was a supporter of one of the 18 clubs who were never in the race i'd be hurting.
If our club was at the end of a successful era and sinking into mediocrity like arsenal or manu i'd be hurting.
If I couldn't remember the last time we played exciting quality football i'd be hurting.
Being in the chase for ALL the trophies for ALL of the season is quite simply all you can ask for as a football fan.

I fully get it. When you are younger you took defeats really badly etc and wins.you would go over board. As you get older you get to reflect more of the entire season and some of the great games you enjoyed or not. Seems like some people just haven't grown up despite being an OAP

dunno what this childish stuff is about TBH.
LFC fans got to see two Dramatic Cup finals and took home the prizes and partied.
Sandy seems to want to knock that any chance he gets out of jealousy or something.
then Spurs fans got to enjoy some better times with conte and improved performances so got to enjoy that as fans for the rest of the season.
Not sure why anyone would want to begrudge anyone a good day out.
It's as simple as that. LFC fans got a huge amount of good days. the final league game was a win but no trophy. so what?
I mean We all know what it's like to be in man utd fans' position with nothing to play for and seeing it out to the bitter end (not not as some seem to think is ok)
Spurs and and LFC fans have seen plenty of season like that. Knocking off each other on an online forum for no real reason than pettiness does seem rather boring way to spend time.
