Surely it is insensitive for Liverpool to be celebrating their Cup wins on the anniversary of Heysel.
The whole footballing community has stood firmly behind LFC over Hillsborough, moving Facup semi finals around etc making fans travel on Sunday transport etc to accommodate April 15.
Surely Liverpool could be a bit sensitive about the date: acknowledging the disaster on the day is not enough imo

It really does not help the thread when the likes of Terminator can't read and start screaming Hillsborough at every given opportunity.
Surely any genuine Liverpool fan would know the anniversary of Hillsborough is not at the end of May.
Sadly, Term's lack of knowledge about Heysel means he has no idea when the anniversary is

Oh grow up ffs. It says everything about your motives and your mentality when a poster acknowledges his error within a few minutes and you’re still going on about it about seven hours later.
And don’t give us this ‘not helping the thread’ BS because it’s anything but a serious thread, you’re not capable of such things. You just some manchild troll who will say anything to get his dose of attention that’s clearly missing in your ‘real life’, and sadly I and others have been daft enough to give it to you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It might not have been pitched as serious thread but it is a valid question and some Liverpool fans are surprised that the club are celebrating on this anniversary.
I think what aggravates people is Liverpool fans totally defensive position on anything vaguely critical of their club, and some are very quick to make accusations about bad taste linking it to Hillsborough. This perception of LFC fans is compounded by Klopp's moaning about everything from the schedule to the length of the grass to the wind direction. IN the eyes of most, Liverpool fans defended, and still will, the bitey racist, not accepting him being found guilty and his punishment.
Only the truly despicable will seek to make gains from the Hillsborough disaster and of all the things that you fans might think feed into the "victim" accusation levelled at LFC fans, Hillsborough is the furthest thing from it.
Hillsborough is only relevant in this conversation as it was a football disaster where tragically many people died and the club respect that date in a certain way and would never contemplate a parade. The same is not applied in the case of Heysel, which raises the legitimate question why.

Why would we have a parade in April? Have a club ever had a parade in April?

For clarity, in your first comment you said ‘never their fault’. What specifically were you referring to?
It’s common knowledge us apparently shirking blame for Hillsborough was a regular theme for decades after. All because we said there was no blame to be apportioned and denied disgusting allegations in that rag.

The timing is not the point dimwit, it's the principle.

Liverpool fans are so desperate to be offended they can't be bothered to read the thread properly.
From defensive, they then go to abusive and personal in a microsecond

Yeah let’s make up scenarios that would never happen in real life to strengthen your point.
Doesn’t matter because it would never bloody happen, most trophies are dished out after April and most parades happen post season anyway

Do you understand what a principle is?
Its the foundation for a system of belief or behaviour.....so if you believe it is not right and proper to play a game on the anniversary of a particularly tragic event then surely you hold true to that principle with regards to a parade.
It seems to be a principle that you have upheld for Hillsborough but not for Heysel....hence the questioning!

Im too young to truly remember or care about blame in the case of both Heysel and Hillsborough.
Things that feed in to my perception of many LFC fans relate to my experiences of the last 30 years and I do not think i am alone in perceiving LFC fans as being very defensive, never accepting criticism or blame and sometimes defending the indefensible like Suarez
