Would anyone be surprised to see Conte switch Kulu to the LWB role, play Jesus on the right of a first chiice front three and have Perisic as a squad cover for multiple positions?

I dont think we pay £40m for Jesus to sit on the bench, and I don’t think he swaps City’s bench for ours when Arsenal for example would start him every game. I also don’t think we’ll sign him at all, just the usual Twitter bollox if you ask me. We’ve announced a £150m cash injection and will be linked to every man and his dog.

I'd be astonished tbh, I don't think his skill-set is aligned with what is required for a wingback, albeit Conte's wingback requirements are a bit more atypical than most. I also think if Conte was ever going to put him at wingback it would be on the right.

Jesus would be perfect to cover all the forward positions, but he's leaving City to be a starting player so Arsenal makes more sense for him

Is that why he's leaving? 28 starts 13 off the bench (2570 mins total) & the only real chunk he missed was in Feb. Started most the big games too (Real Madrid, Liverpool in the league and semi-final), thats a pretty big chunk of fixtures.

To be fair, there's 2 strikers coming in so it makes sense that he'd be getting less minutes next season. And starting half the games when you're the only proper striker must be kinda rubbish.
