Chelsea turmoil

From Tariq Panja"

Story about turmoil inside Chelsea’s marketing department, accusations of bullying, staff leaving on mental health concerns and a suicide of a popular and much loved employee.

This was tough to report. Thanks to people who spoke with me.

via @NYTimes

Chelsea’s owners have told us they hired an « external review team » amid barrage of allegations by current and former staff against head of marketing. Club also contacted family of former Chelsea TV head Richard Bignell who took his own life in January.

If you are affected by any of the details in the story, here are some links to charities that you can contact:

Taking your current squad, whats the line up for day 1 of the season and which of those would you want to see new signings who would be the main men for the season to come?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't play silly games like that and I'm certainly not a manager. If I was to predict a starting line up though I would wait until the transfer window has closed and I bet I'd get it wrong.

Silly games?

Just trying to ascertain what positions Chelsea fans think they need some new faces in. Seems to me that everything but your CM & GK needs some work , so i kinda disagree with your earlier statement that its mainly squad depth and replacing Rudiger
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you asked what I thought we needed I'd have answered, bit you didn't.

Like sherrif said, a striker, a centre back or two. A left back for cover and cover for anyone else that goes. Colwell, Gallagher and Broja will make good back up of they stay.

As for what you think, given your contributions so far, o really am not interested.

Absolutely no idea...I advocated for Vardy five years ago... everyone said he wouldn't suit our "style of play"...should have gone all out for him when we got Kante
