At last someone comments on what this is really all about.
The media have just pulled out their old playbook, thinking, well we don't want Spurs to actually progress, so we will do the disabling story that worked so well for us before last season.
The public will lap it up and believe everything we say. Kane will go into meltdown, and we will see Spurs go backwards. A win/win all round for us journo's.

So, you don't think it funny that player only ever want to leave Spurs. Why does nobody every want to leave, say Arsenal or Utd ( forgetting Ronny who is just one big media sideshow anyway )
I mean, if I played for either of those and was any good, I would be banging on the door to get out.
But, no players only ever want to leave Spurs. Has anyone from the media actually got a specific quote from either Kane or Spurs that he ever wanted to go to City ? with the amount of column space used on that "move" surely there must have been some actual factual evidence ? Nah, you can't because there never was any official quote/statement.

We seem more concerned on here to “shoot the messenger” which is fine if that is what gets you going.

I have written positively about Kane actually staying and buying into Conte & Paratici’s plans. If Conte had suddenly left, then we might be having a completely different conversation now🤔

Players want to leave other clubs too. Mane wanted to leave Liverpool, Ronaldo wants to leave United, even Salah was constantly linked with a move away.
