With sterling and KK now onboard the squads looking in much better shape than when we flew out to America. All abit too sensible from our point of view, top class signings for very decent money. Depending how Tuchel wants to play things this season I think we're only 1 or 2 signings away from being ready. After injuries ruined last season for us I think strength in depth is the key this year.
Were still a top class centre back short and Full back cover is a must, the joint injuries to James and chilwell pretty much ended our season. I think anything beyond this is a bonus but if we started the season with the below I'd be pretty happy

Agree, sign a WB and a CB and i think we’re done. But I think TT wants more then that. It was said we’d make 6 signings. Only 2 so far.
Also need to get rid of a lot of players. Currently overloaded in attack. We may yet bring in a right winger and you haven’t mentioned Ziyech and Werner.

Yes I didn't those mention those 2 as I think it's highly likely both leave in one way or another this summer. With lewa leaving Bayern I genuinely wouldn't be surprised to see them in for Werner

Yep looking pretty good, although personally I'd have Werner in for Pulisic in your list.
Big season for Havertz/Broja if we do put faith in them to lead the line.
Do we think ampadu might feature at all? The hype has dwindled over the years, but from what I read he had a decent season at Venezia and seems to play well for Wales.

Maatsen has gone on loan to Burnley so it'll be Emerson or Alonso.
Not against D Sterling having a role in the squad as he can cover both wb positions

If you're thinking that is Kounde, you're in for a rude awakening. Falls short of that standard, literally. Same bracket as Ake.
I can see Tuchel' rationale behind signing 27 year old CB's in Ake or Kimpembe, bridges the age gap (even though I don't agree with this move, as they are not significant upgrades on what we already have and expensive).
Chalobah & Colwill (Ampadu) right now at their current age aren't too far behind them in terms of quality. Gametime is all they need.

We need another quality CB. Silva as good as he is really shd not be first choice CB at his age for a club like Chelsea and he played far too many games last season.
Koulibay is 31 and has missed a lot of games over last few eeadons. If they are our first choice CB pairing giving age and risk of injury I think we are taking a huge gamble.

Kounde will be that centre back like him or not. He was identified by TT last year and bar end of season surgery would have signed by now. I don't know if he's good enough or not, as a fan i never judge, I sometimes have amn opinion though and if TT wants him that badly he should have him.
