Lloris - 7 Decent when asked upon
Royal - 8 one of his better attacking displays and I thought he was unfortunate for the goal always in a bad position once Romero misread the flight of the cross
Romero - 7 Decent
Dier - 7.5 Decent + goal
Davies - 7 Decent
Sess - 8 Very competent
PEH - 7 Started a little slow but made good progressive passing
Bent - 7.5 Similar to PEH, less good forward passing better in the intracite stuff + didnt start as slow
Kulu - 8.5 MotM for the main man
Kane - Decent
Son - 6 OK, good crossing

Højbjerg was much more progressive with his passing and they both got on the ball the same amount. Bentancur was really good at keeping things ticking over under pressure by moving it quickly but it wasn't a masterclass. They were both good

Højbjerg got disposed loads and got played around too. He also facked up for the goal just standing around with no awareness whatsoever

I don't think Hojbjerg is a liability or good enough for CL football really. Solid 6-7/10 every game. The squad needs him, he's really important. But yeah he's sloppy in possession sometimes which really shows at the top level. Especially as the team around him improves

Updated the OP, just watched the game on Spursplay as was on hols.
Think its way off to blame PEH for their goal, it wan't on anyone. Romero slightly misread a great cross which put Emerson in a tough spot, he had to scramble and didnt manage to stop an insanely good cross, PEH was in a great position and not able to jump high enough (he could have backpeddled but would have risked overcommitting and slamming into someone behind him).

Emerson going to ground like that was a bit rubbish. But yeah no need for blaming an individual there
