Having read all of the Rambles twitter post now i can see that there are huge sums of money that could have been spent elsewhere, and while you transfer budget has always been massive, they should have been continually investing in infrastructure to maintain and improve OT and the training ground because a high profile elite club needs to appear as one and act like one to maintain their status.

United no longer seem to be acting like an elite club, off the pitch, in this respect you may as well be run by Mike Ashley, who failed to invest club money well and pocketed some too, just on a much smaller scale than Man Utd.

For some reason the dividends are typically the major headline you'll see trotted out when United are struggling but in reality they're only the tip of the iceberg

The Glazers have appointed the wrong people in the wrong areas.
But the anger at them syphoning out of the club is beyond me, it's their club, they bought it, I would do the same if I could.
We should be moaning about the £6000000 Pogba and Ronaldo have and are syphoning out of the club, and without breaking sweat. Plus others of course.

Yes we know this; its their money and business. But it is those who allow it to happen who in the end have to take the blame. Running a business badly over a long period of time isnt always unavoidable.

Mea culpa, no I didn't, I have now. It is shocking.
But what they have taken out is not really the problem.
The main problem is interest on the debt, and not appointing the right people to run the club.
If they had halved the debt and had another David Gill to run the club, their dividend payments would have escaped criticism

It's one of many problems that all go back to the Glazers which this link clearly illustrates. It's pretty simple really.

I'd say the biggest problem is them having no real care for the club, not investing in the infastructure while slowly weakening the club. The worry is that they will simply bleed us dry and toss us aside when they're done with us. Buying United was only ever about making money while having to invest little to nothing themselves. They couldn't care less about the club and why they are a cancer.

They represent everything wrong with the world, not just Manchester United.

That article does not say sport washing is a cover up, it says sport washing is used to improve a country's reputation. There is a difference. No need for the insults.
