My old favourite from years back was the Cardigan Arms in Kirkstall. Don't know what it's like now, but they used to do a proper Sunday roast, slabs of beef, crunchy roasters, Yorkshire puddings full of Bisto, mushy peas and a gallon of Tetleys to wash it down. Never made it to the games, fortunately, as we were rubbish back then.

Cardigan Arms is nothing like the place it used to be. Gone all gentrified now.
