@ian_telyes 12m #LFC have enquired with #fcbarcelona about De Jong, but sticking point is the same hurdle #mufc are facing in deferred wages, but initial talks positive. Barcelona want to retain his services, indications are that if he has to leave he’d prefer London as his next destination.

Seems odd to announce to the world that we need a midfielder. Not really our style. Bellingham is one for next season so I can't see it being De Jong at all. It will he someone on a budget.

Madrid are also said to have set their sights on him.

Don’t be surprised if others are in too. Players like him who become available for a reasonable price will always attract multiple suitors. Competition will be tough.

Total neutral, but Tielemans is the ultimate luxury player. Don’t think his work rate/energy levels would be anywhere near Klopp’s requirements. Mon night showed that ‘Pool’s midfield already don’t have the legs/dynamism … Tielemans is the last thing they need right now.
