Conte isn't very good in the Champions League, you guys should probably get used to that as you certainly won't be making a CL Final under him like you did with Poch. Not even close.

The ruthlessness that you talk about with Conte is more to do with the limited number of players that he trusts. The players he starts with are the ones he trusts the most, which is why he tends to be reluctant to use Subs or drop players for ones he doesn't trust. It was the same at Inter.

You'd have thought so. For one of the world's top managers it's a serious handicap to his managerial ability. There's always hope I suppose, Fergie's Utd were generally crap in the CL before they won it in 99.

Say's a guy whose team were even worst in their last away CL game, and have a Manager who has probably had to research the CL before managing his first game in it.
And you think WE have the wrong manager for the job ??

Oh sorry you're talking about last year's Champions League winners are you ?

I wasn't saying anything argumentative, just factual. As a Chelsea fan I've seen first hand what Conte is like in the CL. Great manager in the league, very so so in the CL. Take it or leave it.

This is a match we should have won.
But to go away and start with only 3 at the back, including Davies, is asking for trouble.
I would have preferred an old fashioned 4-3-3 with a back row of Romero, Sanchez ,Dier , Lenglet.
Then midfield Hojbjerg, Betancur, Perisic
Then you can play Richarlison, Kane, Kulushevski
up front.Anyhow, I'll bet we beat them at WHL

Romero normally play RB or RCB.
Perisic can play anywhere except GK
