Kepa

70 mil and what seems like forever I think we're finally got what we ordered in terms of kepa. Been great since he came in for the injured Mendy and deservedly kept his place. The triple save today was top class and his distribution/calmness on the ball definitely brings something to potters side. Didn't think I'd be saying that this season but we'll done kepa.

Yeah. He seems to have a great attitude. I admired the boy - his experiences at CFC could have finished him, but he's dealt with it and made a brilliant come back

It took an injury to Mendy for this guy to get a look in. Thankfully he has taken the opportunity with both hands. He has carried his solid performances in the cup competitions from last season into this season. Much needed quality added to the team since Mendy’s form has gone down the toilet for around a year now.

If I had to pick between them I would go for Kepa tbh. When push comes to shove I don't trust either of them, but Potter's right about Kepa being a better first phase of attack.

I miss Chelsea having a keeper I feel safe with. We were spoilt af in that position for a VERY long time

hes still very unsure at dealing with crosses into the 6 yard box, but his passing and kicking are streets ahead of Mendy. 4 clean sheets in a row must be doing his confidence a world of good.

Well he’ll never be worth £70m tbf but he seems to have improved a lot. Mostly down to confidence I reckon, and that extended period out of the spotlight to get himself right.

I must admit that a great change has occured in Kepa, and it's great to see.Could it be that he has finally matured and grown into a man !
Well played Kepa.

Excellent.
As long as his purple patch is sustained the better...stock stays high, might be able to recoup a substantial amount when he's sold.

The only outstanding save is the one from the header - https://video.twimg.com/amplify_video/1581732230489333761/vid/720x720/4pSbLrxw6bOJD3Dk.mp4?tag=14

The rest are routine (never impressive, especially the triple save).
Could argue he putting himself in that position having to make those saves, by causing the mess in the first place...parrying the ball back into the danger area.

Been saying for a while he should be given another chance, mainly because Mendy has been less than convincing for six or seven months. Kepa is a good keeper, bit maybe too young to take the responsibility of being number one when he came. He never let Tuchel down when called upon either. It's good to see him coming to collect the ball too and relieve pressure on our defence and in possession he's much better than Mendy. Hope it continues.
