General Election now.
Coalition Government to deal with the current emergencies.
Main priority - working all out to protect the weak and poor.

BTW, why the fook are the Tory membership being allowed anywhere near another leadership vote, having landed us with Mrs Clueless last time?
Apparently there's also a big outcry because 20% of them don't have internet/email, so won't be able to vote ... in 2022 that should disbar any coont from voting in the first place.

You have to blame the tactical voting from the MP’s who gave them the choice of 2. Don’t like Sunak then you’re left with Hobson’s choice.
As for those who don’t have an e mail, I’d be surprised. It’s probably just not known, but they are all going to be individually contacted to help them cast their votes. Must have been the same at the last vote only a few weeks ago.

There was postal voting last time, which was possible because the process went on forever.

If the unintended consequence is BoJo making a return then I'd hope someone steps in and puts an end to the nonsense. UNder current rules any new leader in their first year cannot be ousted by '1922 letters' of no confidence. That surely has to be an anomaly never expected. What would have changed to change the letters submitted in the summer? Rules need changed that ousted leaders cannot return for x years or parliaments.

We’re entering uncharted waters all over the place.
Interesting times.

And he's still under investigation by the privileges committee - it should disbar him.

Aye, and they need the same rule in the US!

LIZ TRUSS is set to hand out gongs to supporters with a resignation honours list - despite only having been in the job for six weeks.
Downing Street has insisted that it is the convention that all outgoing Prime Ministers issue such lists.
It could mean key members of her chaotic No 10 operation and some of the big money donors who backed her bid to be party leader being stuffed into the House of Lords or given knighthoods.

The whole honours list has been a farce for decades. Just scrap it completely.

Agreed.
In other bad news, credit ratings agency Moody’s has just downgraded the UK from “stable” to “negative”. Can’t think why.

Best things to happen in this country are when the Tories are oot.
Houses with gardens for poorer people.
The defeat of Hitler.
Introduction of Child Benefit & Widow's pensions.
NHS.
Repeal of anti gay laws, equal pay, minimum wage, Race Act.
Establishment of the Scottish Parliament.
To name but 2.
