The signs were there far back as the game versus Luton at Anfield.

Is everything OK? How are you coping, Liverpool fans?!

You’re using our current form as a yardstick for what to expect next season. That’s not reasonable, it’s negative defeatism. Getting a new manager doesn’t have to result in a huge drop off, it may do but it’s not a given.

You’ve already said you’re looking forward to a fresh approach and maybe the players are too. I think it’s safe to say that Klopp has run out of ideas in how to get extra out of them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You’re putting words in my mouth there, again.
——————————
Good grief. I’m really not. This is what you said…….

Well, Klopp is off lads so we best get used to performances like this for a while as we transition

‘Performances like this’ couldn’t be any clearer in meaning.

So you think we will go the entire season without seeing a frustrating game like tonight’s?

I’ve not even said anything remotely similar to that

‘Better get used to’ clearly suggests you think it’s more likely to be a regular thing.

Stop digging Fred.

Again, you’ve inferred something that I’ve not actually said. That’s on you.

Are we really going to keep going round and round in circles on this?

They really haven't.

You literally said we better get used to performances like this because we are getting a new manager. That means you expect there to be more bad performances than we are currently used to seeing.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, I am expecting some bad performances while the players get used to a new system after working under Klopp for 9 years. We all should.

Klopp is the best manager we’ve had since the 90s and yet we had some stinkers in his first season while the players were adjusting.

The lack of physicality in certain areas is killing us. A physical DM and LCB is a priority next season. We are so easy to play against whilst Arsenal have monsters at the back and midfield.
