Wales arrogance

This is a question for Diafol more than anyone else.

I've seen a lot of Wales players saying they will love it WHEN they knock England out, despite the high probability that England will already be through when the two teams meet.

Also, in Chris Sutton's BBC match predictions, he said he has met alot of fans in Qatar - and heard them on 505 - that are displaying a lot of arrogance, i.e. expecting to sweep Iran aside.

Where has this arrogance come from? I found the same at the Euros last year and in 2016, and it seems to get mistakenly called "passion".

Red card for Hennessey. Absolutely loving this. That’s what all this arrogance gets you.

Arrogance? Fack off.

All Wales have been talking about is knocking out England. They just lost 2-0 to a team we put 6 past. 😂

Not to mention taking the whole generation of children out of school to watch it... So now the backlash begins I hope somebody spent the requisite amount on trauma counselling

Qatar about to go out. Always ruins the WC a bit when the hosts go out early. That’s why it shouldn’t be given to tinpot nations with no football heritage

Does it? Who cares if Qatar go out other than the family members of all the players whos heads will fall?

You can just imagine the amount of parents that are writing letters now saying that little Johnny won't be in tomorrow because he's bereft and feels that the education system has let him down, and that one of us hard working parents had to take time off to take him for grief counselling @£100 a session

They'll want answers... And you have to think they're entitled

Well that's unfortunate

And you’re calling Wales fans arrogant?

Just watching this joke of an England performance - even if we’re lucky enough to get as far as the knockouts, we won’t last long after that. We’re a team built in the image of the manager - safe, plodding and predictable. Wakes fans, we’re there for the taking.

In years gone by, we’d hear how England’s players just weren’t technically good enough at this level. Now there’s a growing acceptance that perhaps they are but the manager is holding them back. If that isn’t progress, I don’t know what is.

I'd say our teams that had Beckham in were superior to todays
