3rd place play off and WC FINAL

Would like Morocco to win today. Simply because they've tried to win games to get this far. Whereas Croatia have tried to draw games to get this far.

The final is a tough one for me. I've wanted the Argies to win the whole thing from the first minute. But I feel like the achievement of the French has been massively understated throughout this tournament. The number of injuries and the illnesses etc have been insane. Griezeman has had a great tournament but he's done so in a role he would not have been playing had it not been for the circumstances that necessitated it.

Still, I hope Messi gets the big one tomorrow. Just won't be too upset either way

I'm just wondering when Argentina will be awarded their customary penalty in the final tomorrow.
I predicted on here that Argentina would get a soft penalty against Croatia if they're struggling to break them down and sure enough they got a pretty awful penalty for Messi to score.
Seen it a few times in this world cup with Argentina and we might very well see it tomorrow. FIFA seems to know what they want in this world cup it seems

Don't know ( or care ) who wins what. I am just interested to see how Messi and Mbappe manage to cover enough ground to go from attacking, to covering midfield, then dropping back into defense and making keeper saves, given they are the only players on the pitch.
Guess the other 20 players normally on the pitch will need a lot of extra seating on the touchline, while they watch the game unfold.

I'm hoping for a Morocco win as it would be massive for them to finish 3rd in a World Cup. OK their world ranking is 10 below Croatia's but they will be up for it big time whereas Croatia might just be "going through the motions". I hope for an early goal for Morocco as if Croatia score first it could be boring.

3rd place play-off is pretty pointless, but usually full of goals - averages about 4 a game I believe.
