Hardly, it’s just further evidence as to why he’s the first name on the team sheet.

Southgateball and being terrified of playing football is England's level. It is the only way that England would ever get anywhere. And it is the only way they have. Don't forget that.

Also you guys called for this "attacking" England line up, mashing in players "on form" to play "attacking football" instead of Southgate's structured approach which looked at playing as a team. You guys were wrong. Who will be first to apologise?

Bellingham the best player in Europe, Foden the best player in the best league in the world and Palmer the best player in the world at the moment, but Kane better?

It doesn't matter who you throw on the pitch when you've got the new Guardiola on the sidelines.

It's like taking the Cox from every rowing boat at the Olympics and putting them together to form their own boats. You just end up with a bunch of Cox in a boat that can't row and end up sinking.
The likes of City would play without any English players if they could but they're not allowed to.
Same with all other teams. You really think we wanted to buy Mount because of his ability?

If Edward Howe takes over as England manager then we are faced with the very real scenario that by the middle of the season, the PL will have no English managers for the first time ever. And who will there be long term? Clubs are not accepting English style football anymore as it doesn't cut it at the level they strive to be at.
You will also see this going forward with English players. City already don't play Foden, the player the FA sponsored to be the "player of the year" last season.
English football only really exists now in the Championship. This is leading to the England national team being of Championship standard. Hence being in the Championship of international football, league B of the nations league

Which still wouldn't affect the likelihood of an English manager winning the PL.

Sean Dyche (5 points) and Gary O'Neil (1 point).
That is what will be left if Edward Howe leaves.
How long are they going to last?

Dyche will say something funny about eating worms and make himself too well-loved for the sack.
