Ranieri and Puel were sacked for less ffs.

Under Vichai. Not the Mersey has made that connection yet. Thick facking plank
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think you’ll find my IQ is pretty high but I'm not sure why that is relevant in my support of our owners.

I want us to sack Rodgers, and it will be Top’s fault if he doesn’t and we go down. But I support him. Sorry if that offends you.

Your IQ really can’t be that high if you can’t see what is happening to this club under Top and the difference from Vichai. The lack of investment, the financial mess, sticking with Rodgers - who do you think is responsible and how on earth could any genuine Leicester fan support that when it’s damaging the club so much.

Top has had countless opportunities to remove Rodgers and he won’t. He’s financially mismanaged us to the brink of FFP fines and looking at the squad what do we have to show for it? Wake up FFS

Mistakes have been made on the recruitment strategy and backing Rodgers. But aside from that I fail to see how we’ve not been one of the best run clubs of the last 10 years.

The current lack of transfer activity and failure to sack Rodgers falls on Top and the board. I won’t deny that. But to suggest Top should leave our club is incredible for me.

You fail to see that spending more than we had and racking up a bigger loss than Manchester United, forcing us into an 18 month transfer embargo is the sign of a club not being run well? Why are you referencing the last 10 years. Top wasn’t running the club ten years ago. It’s what’s happened financially and to the playing squad in the last 3 years you should be thinking about

It’s not just mistakes being made - the mistakes continue to be made. Where are the signings this window? Where is the communication from the board about 1 signing in 18 months? How are you supposed to survive in the PL like that

To suggest that we’re heading in the right direction under these owners is incredible from my perspective. You won’t get your head around it until it’s too late sadly for you

I tell you what it is from some of our fans - it’s small club mentality. Unable to understand the ambition Vichai had, some of them would settle for playing Tranmere away in league 1 again.

They deserve everything they get

I think you have delusions of grandeur 99 😉

Yeah I don’t want my club relegated, broke and devalued. Delusions of grandeur indeed! Still as you say, the future looks really bright under Tops direction - what with the most expensive training ground in the championship and a stadium expansion that won’t be needed

Until very recently, I was still of the view that Top and KP remained the best owners and custodians of the football club we could realistically aim for. Despite the mistakes and the stubborn desire to prolong the Rodgers project, I was still onboard with their overall ownership

I'll admit, that has changed recently. The complete disintegration of the club since May 2021 has been harder to ignore and, whilst a change of manager would I believe steer us to safety this season, I fear we'd be back here again in 12 months and probably in a worse position than we are now. It feels like those in authority have gone AWOL - Top is dealing with KP, the board have allowed this decline to go on without intervention, the manager has been prostituting himself all season and seems to be begging to be sacked, and the players have regressed and show few signs of being bothered by what is happening, with many running down their contracts. Where is the leadership? Where is the drive? Where is the accountability? And where is the will to turn things around? I am not seeing anything from anyone, including Top. We are completely rudderless.

Top took over the club many years ahead of schedule due to tragic circumstances and before he had any chance to gradually take over from Vichai. He's also had to deal with KP's finances. My nagging fear is I just don't think he is up to it. I think he's out of his depth and that is now starting to have consequences for the wider football club. He's put his faith in people he thought were trustworthy but they have let him down and he's been too weak to turn things around. We have spent £100m on a training ground that will be the best in the Championship soon and took out a huge loan guaranteed on future PL TV revenue or parachute payments, on a stadium redevelopment that will probably be shelved the moment we go down. The club is a complete shambles and the cherry on the top of this particular sh&t cake is his reluctance and downright stubbornness to sack the biggest cancer at this football club since Taylor and Wise.

If Top wants to stay and carry on his father's legacy, he needs to start showing commitment and competency, both of which have been lacking recently. We need fresh investment, whether that be from KP or an outside source, and a big plan for how we are going to rebuild the football club, most likely from the Championship. If he can't provide that, the best thing he could do for this football club and his dad's legacy, would be to sell to someone who can. That might end up being Top's greatest gift to the fans, not the free donuts.

I don’t post my opinions to often but for what there worth here they are.
Ward - just not good enough and should be replaced immediately
Both the current full backs not good enough especially Thomas who should never play first team football for this club ever again, it’s been clear for a long long time he is just no where near the standard required for this team or league, and Timmo is not much better.
Big Dan, ?
Wout ok
Wilf what the hell happened to him?
Mendy ok bit part player
Tilly ok but not in this current team
Albrighton, old just league cup player
Barnes,is almost in Thomas territory
Madders must be just counting down to day when he gets out of here
KDH,brings energy but nothing else
Ian still hasn’t had the ball fully under control in about 4 years
Daka see Thomas
Vardy needs service but told to lead the line
Potential new signings must be looking at this and thinking jeezzzzz
Brendan, he is right he is not a magician I think Paul Daniel’s himself could probably do a better job.
Top needs to sh#t or get of the pot.
Get that Silva guy in from fulham throw what ever he thinks is needed at it and let’s have a good go at getting out of the inevitable .

Brilliantly put. For me it’s time for Top to sell up and hand the club to a new owner that has the financial means to keep us in this division and can appoint experienced football people to take us forward
