Anyone remember Harry Ramsden?

Genuinely can’t remember El Bosque and I’ve been on this board certainly since the BBC 606 - about 17 years.

Looking at your user number, you appear to have signed up here 36 people before me, probably on the same day in fact. So Harry Ramsden must have been on the old 606.

He was a right windup merchant, him and Rev used to have at it on a regular basis!

Harry Ramsden sounds fishy to me. It was that chip on his shoulder.

Rev is still around as he posts on the Nottingham EP

I think I annoyed Rev with my positivity. He’ll be back if we get relegated 🤣

Bomdia on the NEP was always cracking for his academy insights.

Also met an old Forest fan online who was in Adelaide. He was in the merchant navy and must have been in his 80s in the early 2000s? I used to send him match reports, but he stopped responding after a few years. Presume he met his maker a long time back.

Weird that some posters 'disappear' and you never know what happens to them - basically we are just monikers on a computer and its great to imagine what individuals look like and what they are like in real life.

For instance I've always had Igor down as twinkly eyed, 6ft Irish Adonis who is already for the craic.
