I’m also very wary of signing forwards from Serie A. I’m not one to just write off a league, but people don’t seem to apply the Serie A tax that they do to the Bundesliga. I’d much prefer us bringing in players from Portugal, France, Spain and England where players tend to have a bigger success rate in the league, thinking about it.

Why would he join Chelsea? They won't be in the CL. No chance he's dropping down from CL this summer. He will either stay at Napoli or join Madrid, Bayern or maybe Utd if we make the CL.

Utd will hopefully be a bigger draw in footballing terms than Chelsea this summer.

The season isn’t close to over, but say we finish top 4, on the up, I think we will be an attractive proposition for a lot of players this summer.

Just like Liverpool didn’t offer the biggest wages, players went there for Klopp and the prestige.

I reckon ADL will even out-price Chelsea.
