Victor Osimhen

Surely should be our number 1 target this summer!

Especially if we have new owners then we wouldn't have to worry much about financing as we'd practically have a ton of money to spend. Have watched quite a few Napoli games this season and Osimhen looks the real deal. The guy would be perfect for us. Think of a better version of Van Nistelrooy.

He'd cost a bomb though as Napoli spent 70m on him so I'd guess they'd be looking for at least 150m. The only other option is Harry Kane. Wouldn't be opposed to him.

Evan Ferguson from Brighton anyone?

As well as Toney. We need two.

I really like Toney, he isn’t Kane though.

If we signed Toney and managed to get a first choice CM and RB though, I’d be pretty happy. The squad is what needs improving as much as anything though.

We will still be stuck with Glazers and probably more borrowed money and debt, it’s Wegg to take us forward

Toney and another good striker would potentially be better use of funds than Kane and a crappy, cheap striker.

Many years ago, after Kanes 1st breakthrough season at Spurs, I said United should pay £40m and sign him up. You could see he was special.

Some of the 'board experts' from back then laughed at the suggestion.

They probably laughed cos there was no chance of us selling him

£40m was a lot of money back then.

You said ‘that half decent striker looks slow. Imagine how slow he’ll be in 10 years? We should offer them a few kebabs and a crate of tizer for him’

"Kane is not the answer, not if you're building a side to dominate long term."

To build a side long term you don't have to have all players under a certain age, you need a mix and Casemiro and Varane has shown how valuable a quality experienced player can be to the team.

Kane is 29 while Lewandowski and Benzema are 5 and 6 years older, there's no reason why we couldn't get a few years of top quality out of Kane.

No guarantee that Kane would be able to maintain the same level as Benzema and Lewandowski at the age of 35.

We all saw how Wayne Rooney declined after 30. Benzema/Robert L/ Zlatan are outliers in football especially for strikers.

The best time to get Kane was 2 years back or even last year.

Rooney was a smoker and a drinker and a red faced bald midget

Looks a real talent and a very ETH style striker. He's only 18 though so probably not ready despite looking extremely mature.
