Jorginho

Yeah he’s a good player overall, he’s got plenty of positives that outweigh his negatives. Positionally, he’s great in attack and defence, finds himself in good defensive areas, and in transition he’s great at receiving the ball and progressing it forward quick. But yeah running back he’s very slow, players can get away from him easily. But When partey is out, the midfield is so much better than it would have been without him

I wouldnt actually mind seeing Him and Partey in the middle. Could be a good combo.

After the City game a lot of people were saying our January transfer window was a disaster. 2 games later and people are now saying it was brilliant!
Jorginho is good at what he does, but whether he is good at what the team needs is another question. Hopefully Partey is back and remains fit for the rest of the season. How Jorginho fits in remains to be truly seen - can't see how he can replace Xhaka, let alone Odegaard. Him and Partey together would surely mean Zinchenko cannot play at left back?

2 games is hardly a great sample size.

Not exactly. I was blaming Arteta subbing Partey against a team whose entire game plan was using tall athletes at set pieces.

In fact I wouldn't start Jorginho against Everton for the same reason.

I was also very happy that we signed Jorginho as I felt he was a class above Elneny. And by that standard he absolutely fills the team requirement.

I don't think anyone, I suspect incl Arteta thinks Jorginho should start ahead of a fit Partey.

So far he looks like a very good edition.

The main reason for bringing him in was to fill in for Partey and negate the negative impact on the team when he is not available. Yes its early days, but he has done this very well in the last couple of games.

Was the main reason why we had more possession than them and was not responsible for any of the goals. But apart from that. Yeah forgot that.
