Hall of fame

Callum McGregor could get his 50th cap during this qualifying campaign, thus becoming a hall of famer. Well done Callum, best thing he ever did was not throw the toys out the pram when offered a loan at Notts County. Great captain and a very successful one. For me he eclipses Barry Ferguson in this regard as a captain and player and will in all likelihood add to his honours this season including the hall of fame something Ferguson did not achieve

I don't get the Ferguson point. Like him or not he is probably regarded as a Rangers legend and was an excellent captain for them.

People who call him squarebaw have absolutely no idea of the impact a solid defensive midfielder can do. Take the ball in a tight space, hold off a challenge and move the ball quickly to advance an attack. As long as the ball is positive or is recovering a situation then it doesn't matter what direction it goes.

Met Ferguson a couple of months back at a club dinner, decent guy who loves football and is unashamedly Rangers through and through

You know it is a dead article when even I can't be bothered voting for the legend that is Mr Mag. N. Um

I was only trying to make the point that I think McGregor has eclipsed Ferguson as an old firm captain especially if he gets into the hall of fame , 7 premier league titles, 4 Scottish cups, 6 league cups so far…. More in the tank, Ferguson 5 titles, 5 of each cup.

Same. Went down to Blackburn to see them playing Liverpool. Totally ran the show.
