Another must win game apparently. We’re doomed!
Last Game Overview: We should’ve won that. Are we really the worst team in the division?
The Good: The midfield. No Shelvey equalled energy and chances.
The Bad: The substitutions. Let’s go for the win instead of the draw.
The Ugly: Podence’s spit.
Special Mention: Johnson. What a finish. Danilo looking like the girl from West Bridgford is teaching him English.
Overall Record:
Currently we stand at W37 D35 L31
Injuries / Signings:
Ayew, Boly, Henderson, McKenna and Wood are all out for this one.
Will Aurier and Yates recover?
Form:
Forest Away Form - W2 D1 L4 GF3 GA13
Leeds Home Form - W1 D3 L2 GF6 GA9
Forest are 1PPG over the last ten games. Leeds are 0.9 PPG.
Team:
Navas
Aurier Niakhate Felipe Lodi
Mangala Danilo Freuler
MGW Awoniyi Johnson
We looked good against Wolves. Let’s close our eyes and pretend its the WFCG.
Prediction:
They'll have a couple missing players hopefully. Gnonto especially. Without him we have a BIG opportunity.
3-0 without Gnonto.
Just got a feeling we’ll score early and they’ll be hit hard.
COYRs!!!

I saw positives from the performance.
Not sure why Danilo was taken off, he was having a great game. Mangala off early meant we lost our energy in midfield.
Dennis passed a bit more. Obviously setting up the goal.
Toffolo did well defensively, as did Felipe and Niakhate.
Williams was the weak link…he’s been poor all season and was singled out. He is not Premier League standard.
If McKenna is fit it might time to switch to a back three. Williams can’t defend anyway.
Yeah, we lost the game, but so will (and did) a lot of other teams.
They’ll be a lucky call or goal that will see us pick up points.

I pray your last statement proves to be true.

Since we scored the Leeds keeper hasn’t had a save to make. We were competitive second half, but had no shape, no plan and no confidence. We offered nothing as an attacking force and yet again clueless Ayew comes on, sometimes I wonder about our substations. Hope Cooper stays and we don’t panic.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The big problem is confidence. When you have no confidence you look like you have no ideas. Look at Liverpool, have plenty of attacking talent but look useless at times.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You have to wonder what they are doing in training. at this stage in the season that can't be any excuses for such poor away form. We have conceded in injury time again and there is no sign that we are learning or progressing. On paper we have a squad that should easily be mid table but we are not playing to their strength and to see players like Ayew coming on must be so deflating for the players on the pitch as he is the biggest waste of space I've seen in a Forest shirt in quite a few years and that really is saying something.
I just want to see some fight. If we lose to good goals fine but lets stop the gifts as that is what is killing us more than anything else right now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah it’s so easy to score against us. You just pass down the wing, cross and you get a chance. It’s hard to know why we are so bad. I don’t know what happens tactically? We can’t defend or attack? We just give the ball away constantly and let teams have the ball. Yates does make a big difference to be fair. However, we need some different tactics.

I feel we are as good as down after today.
Who will be our next manager ?
Which players will be with us next season ?
We are not good enough for the Premier league , we needed to beat or draw against the teams below Palace and we did not .
We are done .

I really hope you are right. However, a lucky goal will make no difference if we concede two goals a game.

I think that actually we have got 6 more points than we have deserved. I felt we were in a false position for a while. We didn’t deserve to beat Leeds or Leicester really. Usually would have lost both those games with the chances they created. It gave us the impression we were better than we were. We have been found out since then.
I think the bubble burst at home to United in the Semi-final. We lost with moot any fight at all and that was deflating.

I'm sorry, but SC's post game interview was so, not negative, but sounded like he knows he is under pressure.
Which actually saddens me, because I think he is superb as a coach.

I dont dispute any of what is said above, but there still maybe 3 worse teams than us at the end of the season, if we can start picking up some points away from home, having said that we have Aston Villa, Chelsea, Liverpool and Brentford before a final day at the Palace. We would need an absolute miracle to get many points out of that run, but the 3 teams below us at the moment will have an equally difficult run in. We need to hold our nerve, stick with the manager, and fight for our survival, its still do able, but it will be a hell of an achievement if we manage it.

We should have beaten Fulham and Bournemouth at home though so could argue we should have 6 more points

But we didn’t because they scored their chances. The only games we have won, have been teams missing chances. I know that will happen in every game but I think we have especially rode our luck in that respect. Look at the Man City game, Haaland missed an open goal from 4 yards out. He then fell over when clean through too. Liverpool missed so many chances as well. We have never once kept it tight. Even when we beat West Ham they hit the bar twice. We need to find a way, especially away from home, if not constantly being totally opened up.

So we lost because other teams took their chances and won because they didn’t? Erm ok
