Who are you tipping to win the Green Jacket?
Rory McIlroy - the only big title missing in his career and one he has come close to winning on a few occassions. Sitting second in the world right now on a good vein of form.
Scottie Scheffler - world number one. Players champion. Last years Masters champion
Tiger Woods - way off the level he once was but it didn't stop him winning an unexpected 15th major just 4 years ago. Highly unlikely to make the cut never mind the win.
Jon Rahm - world number 3. Always performs well at the Masters. Currently in great form.
Max Homa - a name known to very few other than regular golf viewers but has flown up the ranks andcould be in with a shot of becoming known by many.
Then there is the LIV side of things - Smith, Koepka, DeChambeau who are all top players in their own rights but opted to join the sport washing set up.
Who you going for?
Heart says Rory but head says Scottie

Regarding e/w for golf I get the 8 places that most firms have offered at 1/5 of the odds, what happens if there are ties?

Isn't the CL just as manufactured as LIV and trhe EPL - chuck money at something, change the rules, discard the tradition etc?
I'm confused now.

The difference is it’s the pinnacle of the sport, LIV isn’t.

The LIV thing in golf........as I understand it every tournament is 3 rounds with no cut and the small select field collecting shedloads of cash courtesy of the Saudis.
Would echo what the previous poster has said....... it's not the pinnacle of the sport and I believe those European players competing in it are now barred from playing in the Ryder Cup. It seems to be just accelerating the retirement plans of Poulter & Westwood and anyone else playing in it.

Maybe if LIV events garnered ranking points more would take the lolly then? Or if the EPL was barred from European competition fewer of the best players would come?
And ironic that all that extra money in the EPL has yielded zero impact in English clubs winning the CL which surprised me somewhat given how often we get told it is the best league in the world and clear evidence from leagues showing pretty much a straight line correlation of spend to performance.
8/37 wins versus 6/29 in the CL / EPL era. The pinnacle / achievement thing kinda goes out the window.

It wasn’t always the best league.
English clubs arguably should have more CL’s but if you look at the average CL performance over the last 5/6 years I’d imagine the PL is well on top.

He had his one and only chance in 2010, his head has never being the same since regarding Augusta.
No harm as he’s a boring dose.
