....when you send your team out at the Don Valley Stadium tomorrow can you have instructed them to challenge (and maybe win) the second ball, rather than needlessly and lazily concede possession to the opposition? Can you also have told them to actually move when we are taking a throw-in, therefore giving the thrower an option or three, rather than have him repeatedly throw the ball into a pack of players.
I'm not asking for much, in fact I'm not even asking for a win here, but it would be nice to just see some progress being made.
By the way, on his way out to play the game can you also have a word in the ear of Mr McGrath and tell him that there really is no point in him just kicking the ball high up into the air with no direction. All that does is scare the odd pigeon or two.
And, finally, please don't substitute our top goalscorer so that you can "experiment" with a different formation if we are chasing a game. Just to explain, my kettle works perfectly and I don't feel the need to try out a new one to see what it is like; it just doesn't need to happen. Zola and Richards are our best pairing since I don't know when and yes, we know Billy can score goals, but as the saying goes "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
Looking forward to tomorrow.
Lots of love,
WB
Dear Mr Peschisolido....

"You're manager is doing a fantastic job under the circumstances at your club, and his assistant has been there and done it." (and by the way, it should be "Your manager...." )
And you know that how exactly?
There's no doubt some progress has been made against last season, but Peschisolido is doing an excellent job?! Absolute rubbish mate, the difference between this season and last is that we've got a couple of players who can find the back of the net and the luck that deserted us last time around seems to have come back.
When you are outplayed and out thought by the team third from bottom, when you scrape a win against the team rooted to the bottom, and whose players were so unfocused that they contemplated striking that day, then you've still got problems.
And just a quick one for you - what exactly are the "circumstances" at our club? Explain your thoughts here.
If you mean "little old Burton", "punching above their weight Burton" or any of the other patronising twaddle we hear every week, then don't bother replying. No one talks about "little old Bury" or "punching above their weight Rochdale", both of whom were promoted on, supposedly, much smaller budgets than our manager has been given these last few years.
For the players at his disposal last season Peschisolido failed dismally, as witnessed by those who regularly watched the team. Having brought in much better players this time around (and Chris Palmer) the very least he should be doing is flirting with the play-off places.
By the way, your comment "...and his assistant has been there and done it" means what? Paul Ince, Gareth Southgate, John Barnes, Carlton Palmer, Noel Blake, Ginafranco Zola, Ginaluca Vialli and Peter Shilton have when compared to Gary Rowett, "been there and done it" many times over. But when you move into management what you achieved as a player means squat.
Funnily enough, your lot have a manager who many feel underachieved as a player but he hasn't turned out too badly, has he?

I suppose we shouldnt rise to these outsiders Wednesbury because they know nothing about our football club,.theres always a minority who try to spoil constructive threads.I think in future i am going to ignore such cretins.Again thanks for your article and the bomb proof comments you have made.

Hey Emnez, problem solved - I just discovered the delete button!
I won't use it again though as I hate censorship really, but had to try it out somewhere!

Good on you wednesbury, would of thought Wassa would be to busy squabbling with Forest fans to worry about coming onto the " bottom league " forums ! All the best for tomorrow.

Actually red dog, I like to look out for Burton Albion results, seeing as some of these Brewers fans were moaning, remind me how they got on against Rotherham? It sounded to me like the goalkeeper, Ross Atkins did some cracking saves, and sounded to me like he should have got man of the match! I wonder where he's on loan from? That's right Derby County. Well played Burton, cracking result and a clean sheet, well done Pesch and the lads

I didn't have the pleasure of reading this tread before the deletions but commenting what's left, you all have to remember Pesch is no finished article in management he will make mistakes and as fans we have to back him!
I was always told you can't make a cake without breaking eggs unless you buy a ready made one from a shop.
The difference this season is the manager has learned from his mistakes and is now playing 4-4-2 with a number of players he has signed from total obscurity.
Welcome to the site Wassa.
