Thanks for clarifying, never really followed it but remember them and Newcastle winning it 👍

Arteta didn't have a good start to his Arsenal career performance wise, yes we won an FA Cup but the team was still declining overall. On the pitch he struggled badly to get his ideas working but off it him and the management team started to do great work.

They made bold decisions to force out a lot of players and spent huge sums putting together a promising young squad. Bar the odd good period though the infield stuff was poor. I'd say the team did worse than it could have under a lot of managers in that regard.

However eventually things really clicked. I guess a combination of him now having the right players and the players finally understanding/being able to how play how Arteta wanted along with Arteta's tactical and man management improving is what's done it.

Very different to Ten Haha who was already vastly experienced compared to Arteta when he joined United. Ten Haag has had a far better first year but he's faced different challenges and already knew the management role far better than Arteta did.

Only PRsenal fans could brag about a trophy won with a squad of players they considered toxic and sh’t when they haven’t won a bean since dismantling and “upgrading” it for £400m.

Erik finished 3rd though not 8th. 😂

Chelsea spent £600 million to finish 12th. Your rivals are Fulham and Crystal Palace so you should be "wumming" them.

Remarkable that Utd fans are reduced to heralding the refreshments cup, but that is what they've been forced into. At least they're a lot more quiet these days.

Liquid prefers the CWC.

Arsenal have never eon that either.

I prefer the Premier League, SuperBowl, Stanley Cup and of course the NBA title, which we’re playing the Miami Heat for currently.

But yes the new CWC will make the UCL even more irrelevant than it currently is.
