Away again

The again the fixture list gave us a helping hand with two games against Arsenal & City straight after they'd played the away legs of European midweek games.
That realised 4 unexpected points.

Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea away in our first four fixtures, a real baptism of fire.

Good to get them out the way early though surely? Get good results from them and it sets you up nicely. Bad results and plenty of time for catch up

Forgot to add the next away is Man City, wow, what a start, away from home.

Think yourself lucky! Spurs are away 19 times this season !!! Stitched up again

Thats a tough start, may only have 1 to 3 points after 4 games.

Cooper will have to work his magic to keep morale up!

It makes the home games of Sheff utd and Burnley even more important, as i don’t see us picking up too many points in the first few away, 6 points after 6 games maybe the best we can hope for, and those will more than likely be from home matches. The table may look pretty daunting from a Garibaldi point of view after 6 games, hopefully then there will be more optimism.

Yes it's a tough start;but the Premier League is tough.
If two years ago, we had been told that our opening six games would include games against Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea, and Man City you'd have told them to stop being silly.

This is what we have waited 23 years for. Enjoy it; it might not last.
