At £8m he makes a lot of sense. Good back up option, knows the team and the league. If it means we can push the boat out on a higher calibre CB then I am all for it.

Would rather we went for better younger players more suited to a high line. Seems like collecting deadwood at this point unless he's free

You still need back up players - I’d take Lenglet over all of Rodon, Tanganga, Sanchez and Dier. At £8m it’s good value.

We would still need at least 1 more CB on top and ideally 2.

We need two CBs as essential.

Tapsoba and VDV - if they are the targets, get it done. These signings a will push Dier and Sanchez out

Tapsoba yes, not convinced by VDV, would prefer Bremer from Juve who are financially struggling as usual.

If Bayern stump up £80m, I would sell Kane and go for Vlahovic and failing him, Ferguson from Brighton

With all this talk of signing CB's, are we spending the Kane money already?

I don’t think so, but the closer Bayern get to £100m the harder it gets to turn down. I think even Levy might relent at about £90m - to get Kane abroad and bag £90m it’s just too good to turn down.

Van De Ven is faster than Son and rarely if ever gets outpaced by attackers🤔👍

I think if Bayern were to offer £90m or over then it might suit us better to let him go if he wants to. Then spend the money on new talent, and with Postecoglou’s knowledge and contacts in the Far East, we could probably pick some useful players.
Part of our problem vis a vie Harry, is that we have relied on him to carry the team and sometimes he gets the ball when others might be better placed. I would prefer it if he does sign a new contract even if the Club break the £300k a week salary mark to do it.

Whatever happens he owes the club and fans nothing, indeed he is the one who is owed respect and admiration for all time, he is a true legend to go alongside the Blanchflower’s, Mackay’s, Hoddle and Ardile’s of our past.

Of course the greatest was Jimmy Greaves👍
