Who knows how Osimhen would perform in the Prem? Onana carries less of that a risk being a goalkeeper and Caicedo is Prem proven quality.

Still 50-50 though.

One good season in the prem doesn't make Caicedo actually worth 100m IMO. Everyone is saying Rice is an overpay with the homegrown tax included, and he's been better for longer. Raya and Ndidi would be good equivalents for maybe 80m total

If I had £150m, I wouldn't be wasting my time with football. It's a kids game.

I'd be on my Sunseeker in the Med catching some sun with several topless women who are only interested in my money, but have such loose morals I wouldn't need Pownhub for a month.

Osimhen. He's probably actually worth about that. The other two you could find decent alternatives to for half those fees.

Club should explore Reims keeper Diouf (or Lafont) as a replacement for Mendy and priority number 1 starting upgrade 'keeper.
May be the most cost-effective option the market.

Both aforementioned names French and English speaking, which will help with the communication in defence + track record of recruiting players from Ligue 1 over the decades is immaculate (see Drogba, Azpi, Gallas, Hazard, Badiashile, Laboeuf, Malouda, Essien, Cech and of course Mendy)



Spending 150m on Oshimen is the equivalent of 100m on Lukaku, excessive.
Available strikers in their mould will invariably emerge every season. Common.

150m is the type of fee you splurge on rare players in the ilk of Mbappe, player with no doubts of success rate in any top 5 league...near enough unstoppable in full-flow, a God-given talent.
Finding them is a different story, they are like goldust.

I often wonder what the likes of Zola, Nevin, Ronaldinho, Okocha, Ronaldo would cost in todays day and age.

I'd rather Konè, Veiga and Vlahovic.

neither tbh. Too much risk on one signing to spend that money.

Don't want to break the bank for caicedo either.
