Well done Sturrock

Congratulations to Paul Sturrock on his Manager of the month award.
I'm glad he has been rewarded for his efforts and think it is deserved.
Our man Paolo was nominated which will give him a bit of encouragement as it's nice to be recognised from people from outside of your own club.
All the best,

Thanks chaps, its nice to have a run of good stuff at the club for a change.

Notts, as Timlin was also in line for player of the month, do you think Swindon will want him back at the end of the loan period? I would willingly break the bank to take him permanently as its no coincidence that the side have been playing better with him in the side.Any idea how much he would be worth?

Oh, and did I mention we are top of the league (smug mode), although as my old man used to say ' the higher the monkey climb the tree................'

Roots, Well done for another good win. I see the mad one got another couple of late goals for you ! Timlin is still well thought of by most of our fans but I'm not sure if he will ever be in Paolo's plans. I say that because no one here can really understand why he was allowed to
go out on loan as until then he had played quite
regular and was playing well and deservedly keeping
his place on the left or centre of midfield. Some here
say it must of been a falling out with Di Canio as it just
doesn't add up otherwise. I do think Timms did struggle
a little bit in div 1 last season as did a lot of our players
! but have no doubts he is a very solid reliable player
at this level.
With our squad now up to around 31 I doubt very
much if we will be calling him back so it may mean
extending his loan with you until the end of the season
or even like you say selling him on to recoup some
cash. You can probably understand how frustrated we feel right now having good players out on loan doing
the business whilst we continue to find any sort of
rhyme to keep us in touch with the leading pack. Whatever happens regarding Timlin I wish him all the best, a really nice bloke and a great pro.
