Simon Jordan- Prostate Cancer

Over 20 years ago now, but lost my old man to prostate cancer aged 64, after two absolutely hellish years of "treatment". He was old school on going to the doc about anything, and waited too long to get it checked out. DO NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE GUYS.

I never asked for the finger, he assumed I wanted it and got annoyed, the same thing happened to my friend and his GP. I'm assuming they get a lot of calls from blokes who's only knowledge of the prostate was their mate who got a finger up their bum by a doctor 20 years ago.

They don’t do the old finger up the ar$e for the last decade or so in yank land. It is monitored by a blood test and when ever you have a colonoscopy.

Hmm if I was told that I'd be asking if they want a fist in the face, which I can do without an appointment. What kind of way is that to speak to somebody calling up concerned about their health?

Then they tell us men need to stop bottling things up and get checked out.

I'd certainly have been taking that further.

I went as my urinary stream went from talking the paint off the toilet to me getting bored whilst going, thinking god hurry up, I've got things to do.

Doctor decided to stick a finger up. It was the most unpleasant experience you can ever imagine. I then got sent for scans. Never heard anything back.

Still have a crap stream. Sometimes I wake up after being on the drink at 3am for a pump, head busting, thinking go for a quick pee then back to bed and it takes five minutes, by which time I'm crawling back upstairs without a head.

You probably have a stricture. A narrowing of the urinary tract. I had similar. They stuck a device in and opened the tract a bit......you guys don't know what pain is, unreal!!!

Hell of a stream for a few months but slowed again now, nowhere near as slow or pointless as yours sounds though.

My doctor's a woman. Does that make it better or worse.

I had a one nighter with a woman once which I regretted the following morning. Went to the gym clinic and they basically rammed a cocktail umbrella up my chap and gave it a scrape around. Worst. Thing. Ever.

Came back clear though
