First of all I’d like to thank Murn for running this competition for the past few seasons. I think we can all agree he’s done a fantastic job and can retire with his head held high. Rumours of him being removed through gross negligence are a gross fabrication. Sheeite jokes aside he’s made the handover process incredibly easy so any screw-ups from here are entirely on me. Thanks are also in order to the Admins for the technical stuff that has allowed me to post these tables.
Quick analysis of the first round of fixtures – some cracking scores from JFK, Lauders, and Paddy on 28, closely followed by trollfecker and Magnum on 23. Hooper13 is the last to make the 20s. For everyone else there wasn’t much in it with the vast majority fitting the teens. A few stinkers at the bottom.. without naming names, heed, Miller, and Earl will be looking to make up some early lost ground this weekend.
The Duke has made a solid if unconvincing start to his title defence but he’s always at or near the top so it’s only a matter of time before he starts putting big scores on the board.
