Although I'm on here quite a bit reading, I rarely post any more, but this woke me up OWF! Yes, what a player.

£25 wasn't nothing, especially back then, but less than a quarter of the fee paid for Dennis Law, so not a bad deal.

I always rather liked Tilly, so a shame to see him resembling a snail with lumbago. Barnes and Maddison seem to have fitted in straight away.

His best sustained period was when he was on loan touting for his big money move to us, once we bought him any quality play was sporadic at best.

Some Great Goals, some Great passes but the rest was meh, a more attractive Drinkwater at best.

Yes, read that TB. An honest self assessment, disappointed with himself as much as disappointing the fans. Fair play. From my perspective I don’t think it was a lack of effort. Be interesting to see how he fares at Villa. Not sure he’ll get as many starts as he might wish for. Still, good luck to him.

I see it the other way round, he's a hypocrite who betrayed the fans and the Club.

I don't blame him fully, he did have a W&nker as Manager but I don't believe a word about him being disappointed for the Fans, just that he didn't get a move to a bigger Club as was touted by many.

Too much up his own aarse believing the hype to see how bvadly he was performing until it was too late.

Unlike Barnes and Maddison I have no good feelings for him, I'm just Glad he's gone!!
