Where we're at part 722

This feels like the longest of summers.

From relegation, to buy out, to ever growing list of owners, to EFL approval, to Farke, to endless loans, to party Rodrigo fee, to aggressive inbound policy.....

We have 2 weeks of window left.

We know that loan clauses expire before the window ends, so I anticipate a rush for club/players to get loan clause usage sorted out and then transfers inbound, if any to happen.

I would not be surprised if no more happen or if its a freebie here or there, I have no trust left in 49ers.

Is that fair when they've only been here 5 minutes?

They haven't only been here 5 minutes, they've been here 5 years.

They've been part of the problem.

They have a chance to be part of the solution, but at moment, from what we've seen they're not taking that chance.

I imagine they feel that they need to see player remaining situation before they feel they can move. This is what happens when you have people who are really inexperienced in football BUT they have been involved for 5 years, they have extensive sports and contracts business elsewhere, albeit radically different types of contracts and ion Cline they have someone involved in another EFL club, so must have surely known some of EFL ropes.

I look at team v Birmingham and unless substantially strengthened, I think that team struggles to make top half of Championship.

We need A LOT of factors to fall on our side:
Rutter to start finding net
Bamford to get find and find net
No other first teamers to leave
Dallas to maybe, just maybe get to play football this season
Defence to tighten up and stop conceding

Do we have the right manager to do this?

I have a confidence in Farke, I believe what he says. And in a complete absence of trust elsewhere, I dont trust the owners, dont trust half the players now, someone we can trust is essential.

It's great to hear groups like LUSt asking for clarity from owners. I dont think we'll get it right now, but hearing a fans group asking for it, endorses the fact that we're right to feel something is wrong.

The BBC have been pushing for interview, its not been granted.

I think we'll hear once window has closed and we'll hear the following:
contracts in place from before takeover screwed us up
we've learnt from that, wont happen again
we want the best for the club
not prepared to risk its finances
FFP
we've got extensive sports expertise, 49ers were just like Leeds
blah blah blah

I've always said judge people on actions rather than words.

We need to see action in commitment to team, not commitment to expend ground.

Prove to use you really know what it takes to build a promotion team.

In the nicest possible way, make Farke shut up about needing players.

Come clean with what finances are like and what is available to fund team.

Improve the communication with fans. I can understand the rationale with wanting to wait till Window was done, but in a crisis, which is what we're in right now, communication keeps people on board.

Doesn't;t have to be a lot:

"We've got some legacy issues with contracts, we need this to be finalised before we know what and where to commit to in the team.

Daniel's been great, working in difficult circumstances, he deserves more investment from us and he is going to get that as soon as legacy contracts unwind and you can expect us to invest in at least 3 more quality players this window who are ready to hit ground running supported by 3 more who will be developing but will add to first team strength during this season where we are aiming to challenge for a promotion spot".

Just something rather than nothing or "I do contracts in my sleep"

Its' time we heard from Cline and I think joint presser with Farke as well is a good idea.
