Maybe that's why Marathe kept Kinnear on - he knew there'd be a scheissestorm once these relegation/loan clauses got triggered. And Sinisterra is the icing on the cake, because we thought that all those players with clauses had facked off already. It's a kick in the nalicks and no mistake but at least we're better off shot of players who don't want to be at the club. That's about the only positive thing I can find to say about it.

Players not wanting to be at the club.......

Bit of a myth this one.

Sinisterra wages will be 50% reduced since relegation. This isnt Luis not wanting to play for Leeds This is about Luis knowing his value and worth and being paid the going rate for his performances. Do we really think Luis is thinking I cant wait to get to Bournemouth and play for those 12,000 fans for this historic club in world football? Choice between championship Leeds and Premier Bournemouth with no money involved I am confident he would choose Leeds United.
He goes back to full wages now which is the most important factors in every modern day footballer.

Sini could have waited until Jan ..... or possibly May. His injury record for me meant he's not deserving or entitled to play at a higher level, he needed to earn it by keeping himself fit

Nothing to stop the club offering him a new contract in July/August.

Same length, back to original wage, loan release clause.

I would have done this immediately with the very few players we actually wanted to keep...assuming that it was affordable obviously.

We will never know if the club did and they were rejected. You would like to think given the statements made about retaining talent that they did try something along these lines.

Certainly no thousands outside the East Stand shouting the odds. Most eating burgers and queuing to get in.

Yes but we don’t want the rest anyway. You only offer to the ones you want to keep.

Is there a football match on today? Or is it a convention of lawyers?
