Great window for Spurs. Four new 1st teamers, Vicario, Micky Van, Udogie and Maddison. Probably the first time since Billy Nicholson purchased Brown, Mackay and White late 50s, that four players integrated straight into the first XI, making it a completely different look from last season.
It`s what we have all been calling out for, players that can slot straight in. No more just buying squad players all the time. What`s not to like. Throw in the new progressive manager, Ange, young exciting players like Solomon, Brennan Johnson, Veliz and Ashley Phillips, and it looks an outstanding window. I did have it down as an 8/10 window. But I am now upgrading to a 9/10 window. Would have been a 10/10, but obviously Kane has left. Although I expect Spurs to hit close to a 100 Prem goals this season, as the goals will be more spread around. So I doubt Kane will be hugely missed in the long run.
Not worried one iota about players that have not left. Perisic, PEH, Sanchez, Forster are fine as back up, and players like Ndombele and Dier will just get frozen out, so who cares. Spurs were never going to get rid of every player surplus to requirements first time up. Over the next couple of windows, they will all be gone. So I don`t get why Spurs supporters are worried about who will be staying. They won`t be involved most of them.
This looks like an exciting time to be a Spurs supporter.

Never said I’m confident just content with our window
I do think Sanchez in this system can do a job when required …..pace is needed and he has it
I won’t argue with fellow spurs fans and I get the frustrations , I’m just trying to put a bit of a positive spin on things as it’s not all doom and gloom
I think we are in better shape as a team / squad than before the summer
Not including Kane in that summary as clearly that’s a complete downer but was not a shock

The Phillips signing is the sort of signing that makes sense….young and potential , see no reason why he can’t be next in line if he impresses in training
Sanchez and Dier have been our back ups to our best centre back pairing in history …..I don’t remember this clamouring for another centre back then

Some of our supporters live in a dream world where they think another Maldini is going to come and sit on the bench waiting for an injury.
Most clubs in the Prem are just one or two injuries away from having to throw in players that are not their best. That's the nature of the beast.
Players like Sanchez and PEH are fine to fill in as and when, without major disruptions to the side.

Just think Davies, Dier, Sanchez and Lloris are still here since the days of Poch
These players have dug deep and are staying despite not being part of the first team. They are refusing to go anywhere!!

We are paper thin away from a total collapse. Tue night was a brief look into our season when we don't have the first team players playing due to injuries or suspensions.
Last season when the window shut we didn't get cover, and what happened literally the next game we lost Kulu was injured and Moura. This could happen today...We could lose Romero if he gets red carded or breaks his leg?
Will you still be confident if that happened?

In an age where you lose the best striker of a generation and don’t actively replace him is neglectful. Then there’s not bringing in any defensive cover for the back line after conceding relegation numbers last year. One injury to either centre back and we’re back to where we started.
To call it a 9 is a joke. It’s a 6 at most.

I think a lot of people need to come to terms with the fact that every squad has weak points and holes. Only Man City are perfect
