Do we have a settled 9 out of 11 players

If Bentancur returns to his pre injury form. I'd argue 9 it of 11 starters will be hard to improve upon

............? SON ?

.............Maddison

.....Bissouma Bentancur

Udogie VDV Romero Porro

...............Vicario

Whilst Solomon Johnson Kulusevski Gil are good options I don't think any of them can secure their spots in the first team. It looks like they'll be rotated.

It will be interesting to see what we do over the next windows.

AussieGlu = Ange
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How about just calling him by his name instead of some absurd nickname that you then have to clarify to everyone.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't worry too much about ir, he's gonna be sack by Christmas, hey Ted !
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll admit to being wrong if he ain't!
He's an Aussie, right? ...so Aussie
He has Greek heritage so his name ends in Glu, right?
So he is ....AussieGlu right? got it now, have you, Big Bannas?

Thought Sarr started a bit shaky yesterday, quite a few did though, giving the ball away, dwelling on it too long, but they all grew into the game.

Sarr looked knackered at the end and I thought that PEH sub would have been for him but he stayed on.

What is evident to me is that we will need to rest and rotate a lot as this approach takes a lot out of us.

I read something a couple weeks ago which said 3 Spurs playes did over 13km in thr game. Most players do 10 or 11 km so this is highly unusual. We don't look like we rush around at 100mph but there is clearly a lot of movement and distanced covered.

For that reason all the main players, like PEH and others will be important to allow that rest/rotation in a demanding approach. But long term PEH is not the man

Yeah, Sarr played all 100 minutes and he was in the thick of the midfield battle. Did well, I thought.
No wonder he was knackered!
Bentancur is not a shoe-in when fit again.
Hojbjerg is a good warrior to have on the bench.
All-in-all, we have a good team.
With Kane, it would be a great team!

Wiuld really like to see Donley and maybe Sayers on the bench to ensure we have quality academy players also getting experience. Good to see Veliz on the bench also.

Kulu is definitely nailed on right now. In fact the whole 11 just picks itself for the first time in about half a dozen seasons. I suppose the question is who drops out when Bentancur returns. I suppose it will be Sarr, just because he is the least experienced.

You have to think where does this leave players like Skipp, zero future at Spurs now. Not even getting on as a sub now, and no cup football until January.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I still think Kulu doesn't have the pace to play wide in Ange's system. I can see Kulu also deputising for Maddsion in some games. He looks comfortable central with his physicality

Oh deary me...Sandy has forgotten about ......injuries.
Our bench is pretty thin...and we just lost a key player, Perisic.
We'll need every able body we have going into November and December.

So this makes 10 settled players in your view. World class LW should be a focus along with a quality utility CB that can play along the back line. (If such a thing exists).

Completely agree on Sarr. He opens up space when we are on the counter being more mobile than skipp however his positioning is quite poor. Well it is very poor to be frank. He was translucent against Sheff Utd. Saved by Bissouma being almost 2 players alongside him.

Impact sub to give us legs but a weak link and i fear if he starts against Liverpool.

PEH doesn't like creative, pass and move football. His footballing brain isn't built like that.

Be interesting if he's still here in Feb
